What Options do Dealers Offer for the Ford Ka?

The Ford Ka, currently in its second generation which was first launched in 2008, is a city car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.

Car buyers interested in taking home a new Ka can expect dealers to offer them a fairly wide range of different options.  The first of these is the choice of engines: a 1.2-liture petrol engine or a 1.3-litre diesel.

In addition to this there is also a choice of four different trim levels, each of which should be available now from dealers in your area.

The basic entry level trim is called ‘Studio’. Standard equipment with this level includes ABS brakes, Electric Power Assisted Steering, driver and passenger airbags, headlamp courtesy delay system, height adjustable steering wheel and body coloured bumpers. The entertainment system has six speakers, CD player plus radio, MP3 compatibility and AUX-in connector.

The next level up is called ‘Style’ and includes electrical adjustable and heated door mirrors, electric front windows, body coloured door handles, adjustable height driver’s seat with memory function, 50/50 rear seat split and remote central locking.

‘Style+’ is largely the same as Style, but with the addition of air conditioning and a heated windscreen.

The top trim level, which is also the most popular, is called ‘Zetec’. At this level you get everything from the lower trim levels and also front fog lamps, upgraded trip computer and instruments, theatre dimming internal lighting and 15 inch alloy wheels.

If the regular Ford Ka is not sporty enough for you then you may also want to ask your local dealer about the SportKa. This racier version of the vehicle includes a sports themed body kit, wider track, firmer suspension, and 16 inch alloy wheels. It also has wider bumpers at both the front and back, which come with integrated fog lamps.
